This is a shot of my wife Jasmine.

Background:
Even though I had a DSLR and strobes for few years now, this was the very first attempt at head shot.
Tried this after hearing PH's talks about getting the right expression, confidence from the model, accentuating the facial features like jawline, eyes.

Technical:
For lights, a deep Octa in front of the model as key. A fill light bouncing of the wall.
D610 camera + 50mm 1.8f.
