My birthday is on Star Wars Day - May the Fourth. My rescue immigrated from Korea and became a US citizen. I own 5 shelves of board games. I took LEGO "headshots" before I did human headshots!

I graduated with a Masters in Education in ESL and have been the captain of the classroom for the last ten years. Everyday I look forward to building deeper relationships with my international students, whom come from literally all parts of the world. I enjoy their learning about their values, their families, their way of life through the stories they share with me every day.

And when I get behind the camera with my subject, I look forward to learning about their stories. And I want to help them continue their stories with a photo that will help them in their career, a portrait that gives them confidence, or a comfort that will keep them going.

Mr Rogers once said: “If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.”
