About CHRIS

Originally from Michigan, I grew up playing a bunch of sports (baseball, hockey, golf), but when I turned 17, I quit everything to try my hand at acting. I loved it. My goal was to become a trained actor, and at 19 years old moved to NYC to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I spent 3 pretty amazing years there learning critical techniques, and graduating in their company of actors. Shortly after that I started producing my own films with a collaborating friend, and taught myself how to edit, produce, direct, and of course star in those films. Cut to: after spending 10 years living in NYC, I decided it was time for me to move West here to LA. I hit the ground running and jumped into acting class, started writing/directing more, and eventually produced, directed, edited, and starred in my first solo short film (which as won a couple of awards). Cut to: my current journey in my life. I am still an actor/writer/director and even though it's been quite a long journey, I still love this business. Now, when it come to photography, I was casual about it for a number of years, but then 3 years ago I realized that the iPhone wasn't going to cut it anymore. Not even with my cool angles and edits. I invested in a crop-sensor camera to test the waters, and boy did I love that thing. This pandemic has made a lot of us pivot, especially myself. I went all in when it came to my photography and invested in a full-frame system (Canon R5), which was THE BEST choice. If I was going to be out of work for this long, I was going to educate and teach myself how to better my art. I have two loves in my life, when it comes to art: acting and photography. I am able to utilize what I've learned at AADA and incorporate it into my sessions in giving my clients exactly what they want. That's my job...to draw out from within. It's been a blast, and I look forward to improving my art for the years to come. I am an actor who takes an excellent photo who cares about the final edit and your careers...capturing The Real You.
