I began my photo education in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Back in the USA, I interned with Ira Wunder and became a darkroom printer. After assisting photographers all over NYC, I went to graduate school at ICP. At the same time I was teaching photography in a private school in NYC. As the ink was drying on my diploma, a colleague asked me to co-shoot a wedding with her. My new career was born! For the next decade + I was at many events My interest in portraiture led me to Peter Hurley and the art of the headshot.
