In a longterm care home where I work part-time, when a resident turns 100 years old, they have their portrait taken and mounted on a special Wall of Fame. I have been their photographer for the past five years, and this year, it was a particular honour to make Helen's portrait. 100 years old and sharp as a tack, with a charming wit and demeanour to match. She was worried she would look "old" in her portrait--but she loved it, and of course, I gave her prints :)
