Upping my game with headshots and so far this is the Selfie Headshot I'm most happy with. Thanks for all the feedback I've received on my posts that got me to this point and not getting tired of seeing my mugshot show up on your screens.

I'm using the Nikon Z6 and the lens was the Sigma 85mm 1.4 Art which is incredibly sharp. I'm not a big charts person etc., but it has scored the highest on any of the DXO tests that they do. I really do love this lens not just for the sharpness but for the colour rendition and feel to the photos. It and the Sigma 40mm 1.4 are my two go-to lenses for those reasons.

Nice. I have been Nikon for almost 25 years after shooting Canon and Pentax but really like the ergonomics of Nikon. Thanks re the lighting?
