I decided to become a professional photographer when I was earning my master's degree in education at Harvard. I was studying how photography can be used in teaching and learning and realized I wanted to make photographs, as well.
I currently work as a headshot and portrait photographer and photojournalist in Los Angeles. I love making headshots the most, however. I enjoy interacting with clients, hearing about their lives and working with them to get images they truly love.
I attended Peter Hurley's Intensive/Intensified workshops in San Francisco as well as Peter Hurley’s HEADSHOTMANIA. I learned a lot about headshot and portrait photography and had a great time at both.
I'm team Canon, by the way! I use a Canon EOS R5. My favorite lens is the Canon RF70-200 2.8 set at 92 when creating headshots, of course.
