On a technical level I shot with Canon 6D mark11, ISO 500 , 107mm , 1/2500 at 3.2 I don't recall using any reflectors. On this particular day we created 8 looks, this as a character shot. I paint with light and this image is one of my favorites because it was one of our last looks of the day as the sun was setting. Before I photograph anyone, I need to know who they are and how they see themselves.Per our discussion I then look for the best light to matched the energy of the actors POV. Vince reminds me of Jason Lee or a very young Sam Elliot and based on this image, our conversation it's a match to how he's cast. I am proud to say his auditions have increased exponentially.
