This is Ed.
Ed was one of the last participants I shot at the 10KHS event. He was a large man, and yet seemingly unaware of it. He was so mild-mannered and almost timid. Although he was happy to be getting a headshot it did seem like it had taken some self-convincing to get there. He didn't really take to compliments and it took some coaxing to get this little bit of a smile out of him, nerves I'm sure.
Still, there was something about him that was really welcoming and I really enjoyed taking his photo!
