Why did I move to Florida from Canada, back in the day? I was 12, and Mom said: "Get in the car." That same year, I saw Star Wars 37 times (in the theater), and my life as a nerd was cemented. At some point, I bought a camera, and found it was a good way to meet girls (I know, unique, right?), but also could be a career.After going to school and learning about shutter speeds, apertures, ISOs, color temperatures, and lots of other technical stuff, I worked as a Photographer on Cruise Ships for a few years, where I literally took more than 1.5 million photos. I learned how to work hard, and be efficient.

Years before, when my Photographic epiphany came, I wanted to be a fashion Photographer, but quickly realized I had no clue how to direct bodies. Faces, however, are a different story. So I shoot Headshots, not weddings. Not pets, not products, not sports. Just Headshots.

I'm not a Camera geek - to me, it's a tool, as long as it captures good color, and works with great lenses. Canon, Nikon, whatever... When was the last time you asked a carpenter what kind of hammer he used to build your house? I'm more concerned about getting a good shot that catches the unpracticed smile, the real story behind your eyes, and hopefully, your personality.I'm more concerned with what's in front of my camera than what what's behind it.
