This is the headshot of Stephen Mikkelsen then CFO for Simms Ltd now turned CEO for Simms.
It was a 3 light setup. Background to create separation and a slight halo just over the shoulders then Clamshell lighting in the front to accentuate the subject. One from above and then below.

What made me most proud of this head shot was the fact that originally Stephen didnt want to have his headshot taken. It was done at an internal conference for Simms, Stephen was aprehensive about having his picture taken because he felt unsure of how he would look on camera and he might not be photogenic, ironicaly many clients feel this way. I first reassured him that was not the case, and that he probably just didnt meet the right photographer as that is our job to set our subjects at ease. After some light banter to get him at ease i then told him " Stephen if you dont like the first picture we take ill have him delete it himself"
Needless to say Stephen liked the pictures and we ended up taking more than one image
