Andrew is an old friend of mine. I left performing to pursue other creative ventures, but he kept going - performing on stage and establishing himself in the theatre world a decade after I'd left. He came into my studio, stood in front of my camera, and within the first frame he hit his professional headshot. We had it in the first shot!

This picture is the second shot when I asked him, "how would you feel if you never could perform on stage again?". He dropped his gaze, tilted his head, took a breath, and then brought his eyes to my lens.
