Her daughter came in for a photo session and when I saw her I told her I really wanted to take some B&W headshots of her. Obviously colour image here as rules for contest say colour only. But I just loved how much character her face has.

Strong shot! The highlights are a little hot, but overall the shot has great lookability. With the hot highlights and the hair wrap, it strikes me as more of a portrait than a headshot, but yes, I agree that she has great character and really engages the camera.
