On the importance of photography... This family came into the studio for two successive years between Xmas and New Years for a few family photos, because grandma insisted. Soon after the second shoot, grandma reached out to tell me that her husband (neither of them are in this photo) had passed away, and that our shoot was some of the last shots they have together as a family. I love this shot because it shows the family dynamics, all compressed in a nice triangle.
