Originally trained in hotel management I started retraining as a photographer in my early 30's first in Auckland, then at a photography school in Singapore, remotely with the New York Institute of Photography, followed by mentorships in Melbourne and Queenstown.

I opened my home based studio in Remuera, Auckland in 2018 and have been photographing corporates, business owners and their teams, families and brides and grooms ever since.

I have two teenage children who I have photographed since the moment they were born and when I can combine my love of the beach, sailing, my family and photography it is a near perfect day.

As a professional portrait photographer I know from years of experience that your photoshoot needs to be relaxed and enjoyable to capture you at your very best. When photographing you at my studio you will be welcomed by my Labrador dog Cassie, and we will be based in my relaxed studio, set up specifically for personal portraits and small groups.

Whether your portrait session is at my studio, your place of work, home or your favourite place, the atmosphere will be the same, relaxed and casual. So I can capture you at your authentic best.

Your photos should reflect who you are, that is the same whether it is a corporate photoshoot, personal branding or family photoshoot. As a professional portrait photographer my personal challenge is to capture you authentically and show the inner beauty in each of us. I will do this by composing you for the best light and effect whether it is a headshot or a group photograph.
