I am a social development professional, technology strategist and part-time politician. Photography has recently become my interest, however it hit me like a run away train and now I'm deeply involved.

My current camera is the Canon EOS 80D (EF 50mm f1.8 STM, EF-S15-85mm USM & 55-250mm STM), which I use for headshots, portraits, birds and just about everything. I intend to upgrade to a full frame camera, either Canon EOS 5D Mark III or perhaps Canon EOS 6D Mark II when it is announced somewhere in July this year.

I don't forsee taking up photography or even headshot/portrait photography as a full-time profession (perhaps part-time) however I want to be as good at it as a pro. I have a small home studio in my basement with basic chinese (Godox DE-300) studio strobes plus stands and a couple of 60x90 softboxes etc.
