Presenting my daughter Emma Kelly!
Emma has just graduated high school as an Ontario scholar and has been accepted to study Psychology at Carleton Uni in Ottawa where she hopes to help other young people who have experienced trauma in their lives.
6 years ago I gained custody of Emma in one of the only areas where male privilege does not exist... parenting rights. She's had a rough ride and these past 6 years have been a journey for us all. It hasn't been easy but we have all worked extremely hard and I am proud to say that I have an extremely special relationship with my daughter.
I could not be more proud of her and to produce some images that celebrate her journey into the world as an exceptional young woman was more of an honour than I could have ever prepared myself for.
I know it doesn't tick many of Peter's boxes for a "Headshot" but this time I don't care because Emma hates having her photo taken and she rocked it and what we captured together is exactly what being a Dad to a young woman is all about. This is my girl. Confident, strong, and exceptionally brave and with the world at her fingertips!
