I’ve been passionate about capturing people and their stories through my lens for almost 15 years. My early journey wove together portraiture and social documentary, taking me on a couple of trips to visit tribes people in Africa and investing time telling the stories of people experiencing homelessness in our local community. After a break, I am returning to photography with fresh inspiration from Peter’s masterful work.
At this point in my life and career, my aim is simple: to continually improve and see where that leads. But what fuels me most is the transformation I witness in my clients—walking away from a session confident and excited to see their final images.
Outside the studio, I’m a leadership coach. My work empowers clients to overcome internal barriers by building deep trust—an essential skill I bring to my headshot sessions. Guiding people to show up as their best selves, both in front of the camera and in life, is what truly lights me up.
I live in Portland, Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest. My wife Sue and I recently completed building our own house, and these days you’ll often find us outside, taming and cultivating our yard and cycling around town.
