This is a headshot for my very good friend, John. He’s a fantastic musician and an incredible band leader.
This photo was taken with my Sony A7RV and 70-200 GM II lens.
The settings were as follows: focal length 70mm, 1/100sec shutter speed, f/8 aperture, ISO 100.
I used a Godox AD300 as my key light with 2 AD200 on both sides of the subject in matching 9”x35” soft boxes. I use a clamshell diffuser underneath the subject to hit the under chin area and I use a Godox V-1 as a kicker behind the subject.
