Decided to give you guys a longer shot at this we'll be going until May 31st. Hope we will all be back up and shooting by June 1st!

The moment has arrived to tune up your portfolio while you've got this precious time on your hands to do it. If you have the desire to come out of this thing firing on all cylinders there's no better way than feeling great about your portfolio. I believe we are all due for an overhaul or at least a tweak here and there, so let's jump in on this sucker!

Here's the deal: 

Take a screenshot of your current portfolio and slap the date you took it on it. Hang onto it until you are ready to submit your refined portfolio between now and May 1st. Take a screenshot of your newly renovated look and upload both the original and the final updated screenshots to the contest.

The winner gets a Canon Pro 1000 printer to print that sucker out you are in the United States. If you are abroad then we'll have to work something out. It's a big boy and I don't think I can get that sucker overseas, but I'll do my best to get a prize that rocks plus we'll do some random giveaways, so get in there! 

Tips for revamping: 

Shot order: They should flow from start to finish with your strongest shots right in the beginning and then finishing up strong as well. This could be based on background color or expressions as well. Work with your best shots to produce a flow throughout the portfolio. 

Color/Exposure consistency: You won't get very far with me if your look isn't nailed down. Match those suckers! Color work is a constant battle over the course of our career and the subtleties of it are something you'll have to conquer for yourself. We'll be talkin color throughout the month. 

Composition: Get the proximity of your subject even from human to human. 

Crop Factor: Decided on one and stick with it. 3x2 is generally too wide for your client's commerical use, so I'd suggest pulling it in.

If you downplay your current portfolio with crap in order to win this sucker you will be disqualified. It will be based on subtle tweaks to improve the overall portfolio and should not look like work you don't produce at the moment.
