It really is true that your Headshot is the first port of call for casting directors and agents out there. However, it is important to note, subjectivity will always play a part in the decision process.
Everyone has their own idea of what a Headshot should be. completely neutral? Show a specific character? Your casting bracket? All of the above?
What is paramount above all is that your individual essence should shine through. This may sound a little hippie or bohemian, but we all know the feeling of seeing a picture of someone that actually looks like them.
Rather obvious? Perhaps. But essentially, that's the aim. Plain and simple.
Using a combination of natural and strobe lighting, it is my aim to capture the essence of you - we'll shoot, chat, drink coffee and laugh.
The end result will be images that you're proud to display, submit, and that will open doors in your career.
It's then up to you to walk through and show them what you've got!
