After a fun and rewarding career as a professional bassist, touring, teaching, recording, and performing for 25 years, I decided to switch to photography in 2012.
In 1991 I was involved in a serious injury while cycling, resulting in the use of a wheelchair, and loss of a leg. Throughout my time healing I learned that the arts are my lifeline and connection to the Universe. I don't have any spiritual beliefs, but I find my place by doing creative acts. I still play music with groups under my own name, but my plans for the second half of my life are to photograph people and enjoy the connections made while doing it.
As Freeman Patterson says, "The camera points both ways".
This is where my camera points.
Thank you for looking at my photography!
