I was born, raised, and still reside in Luzerne County (by choice, can you believe it? I actually like it here). I've always had a particular taste for the creative arts, having devoted a large portion of my life to music beginning at the age of 9 with my first acoustic guitar. Up until just a few years ago, music was my main outlet for creative expression.
In January of 2008, I suffered a major stroke which stole away my ability for fine motor control in my right hand, thus putting to rest my ability to create music. It wasn't until early 2012 that I discovered a new medium for obtaining my aesthetic and creative fix: Photography.
From an early age, I have been capturing photos of the moments in my life that took my breath away. Photography became such an obvious career choice once I had gotten involved with it more seriously.
These events have allowed me to see the world through different eyes and capture the beauty of life.
