You may want to purchase some Evoto Credits before Sept 26

Hey All,

Just wanted to let you all know that as of September 26th Evoto is releasing a new pricing strategy.  In a nut shell credits are going up in price, in some instances are almost doubling. On the bright side however, in many cases they are also not expiring after a year anymore and can roll over to extend their usability.

I'll let you delve in and do your comparisons, and figure out whether this is an issue or not for you. I've attached current pricing and the new pricing below.

Reading them both,  I'd still suggest you stalk up with a years worth before it costs you double or more.

Personally I am on my 4th Round of 1200 credits this year, and with my latest jobs i'm likely looking at having to buy another bunch myself.

All is not lost though. Looking at the new pricing points that evoto shared, it looks like I'll be buying the 3600 credit package at 7.5 cents a credit.  Doing the math it makes the most sense to me. A small increase of half a cent isn't going to kill me and its still way cheaper and fast than using a retoucher.

Now while some will be freaking out and sounding alarms over these changes, I'm just going to say it again that I think Evoto is still the best deal right now in our industry.

Enjoy!

James - thanks for the heads-up on this . I went ahead and purchased another 1200 credits.

The second photo with the two descriptions...what is the price of the subscription where the rates are lower? What is the purpose of the subscription?

What is the quality tradeoff using Evoto vs more manual retouching? Do you use Evoto for high quality headshots? Or just for volume headshots? Thank you.

IMO the quality is about 90% as good as what I see professional retouchers delivering.

same (if not better, because you control it) than the $3 retouchers out there. Not better than the $175 beauty retouchers.
