This portrait was lit using a trio of Godox TT600 speedlights, each softened with diffusers and mounted on a Selons 3-way umbrella bracket. All three were dialed to 1/4 power and fired through a 36" shoot-through umbrella, creating a broad, flattering wash of light with just the right edge.

Shot with a Nikon D800 paired with the razor-sharp 70-200mm f/2.8, this frame was locked in at ISO 100, 1/200 sec — wide open to let the subject pop out against the background.
