Dr Daniel McKay specialises in
Cataract, Medical Retina, Eye Tumours, Eyelid Surgery and General Ophthamology.

When Dr McKay asked for his image to be taken I requested that he removes his everyday eye glasses, I switched the lights off in my studio, dimmed the modeling lamp to minimum, waited for his retinas to open right up and then took the shot. The result is a gentle yet piercing set of eyes that I think is quite fitting for a headshot of an eye surgeon!
