My name is Joe Parissi, born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on June 9, 1968. I am 50 years of age, 5' 11" tall, an international artist (K.O.S: Kids of Survial) and independent actor. I grew up in the Bronx, NY and graduated from Morris High School in the Bronx in 1987, took a year off from going back to school and traveled the world exhibiting my art with Tim Rollins and KOS. One of my painting is displayed at the MOMA in NYC. Then after I decided to go to seminary school in which I attended to Vision International University of California, I studied Pastoral Couseling and Divinity in which I then graduated with a Masters degree in Theology.

I now love Photography and thanks to my fiancé I now own my first professional camera (Sony A6000). It was a gift from her in christmas 2015, I did not pay attention to photography until April 2017... since then my passion for photography has grown intensely. To add a bit more to my blessings I married my fiancé in May 18, 2019, her name is Patricia Parissi. Then again because she believes in me she out did herself by gifting me the (Sony a7RIII) for my birthday.

I never thought that I was going to put aside my paint brushes to pick up a camera... browsing through YouTube and viewing different photographers I came across Peter Hurley. His charisma, corny jokes and corky way of being and humbleness caught my attention and lit up a spark in my heart. I said to myself "This man knows his stuff" so I decided to join the "Headshot Crew". It's been three months now and I am still at work to reach the level of a protégé and then a Mentor. I wrote down my five goals that I will complete within 5 years of my life.

4: Buy a home
5: Being successful.

I am 51 years old now and when I hit 55 I expect to have completed all of my five goals with the help of my God, hard work, and support.
