Born and raised on a farm in New Jersey, I moved to Connecticut after graduating college and became an elementary public school teacher. 12 years later, after joining the town volunteer fire department, my infatuation with high level photography began. Learning as much as I could from the department photographer, purchasing my first DSLR, and shooting all the time, I started my path. 10 years later, I have a small, but successful portrait photography business that specializes in a mix of studio and location portrait photography work.
