I've been a keen photographer all my life, shooting a Rollei in my early teens. I worked in a London fashion studio in the Swinging Sixties, which was great fun, and studied photography at Salisbury Art College, UK. Since then, photography has played a part in most things I've done, from 'smudging' on seaside piers to producing political training videos. I used to write a travel column that was syndicated to several magazines and involved travelling widely throughout Europe. It was heavily photo-based, and I provided all the shots as well as shooting stock as I went. Recently I decided to open a small studio in London to shoot portraits, but unfortunately the premises were badly damaged by fire last November and may not be fully refurbished before late 2013. I'm taking the time out to work on my headshot/portrait techniques and replace all my lost equipment.
