About chris

I'm an Atlanta based photographer specializing in headshots for actresses / actors, models, businessmen / businesswomen and anyone who needs a headshot, like yourself.

Let me tell you how I discovered my passion for photography. It all started when I was a child, somewhere around the age of 7 or so. My mother had some kind of SLR camera. Like most kids, I would rummage through my mom's closet and mess with things that I knew I shouldn't touch. Her camera had a really long zoom lens and I always thought it was cool to look through the lens, zoom in on something and magnify it. Even though I didn’t actually take any pictures with her camera, I felt like some kind of spy or secret agent while I was looking through that zoom lens.

In High School, I was always the guy snapping pictures with one of those disposable cameras. I just liked the reaction I got from people and capturing that moment forever, or for as long as I didn't lose the camera or the pictures.

After High School, I joined the military and for years I didn’t really pick up a camera. I took a few pictures here and there, but no where near as many as I should have. I guess I was caught up in my new career and trying to find myself. A few years later, I decided to get married. We were on a tight budget, and had her uncle photograph our wedding. Upon receiving the photographs, I was pleased with the outcome. As time went on, I purchased my own camera to take pictures of my children, I actually learned a few things about photography. However, the more I learned, the more I felt cheated by her uncle because the wedding pictures weren't really that good after all. At that point, I made a vow to learn as much as possible about photography and never leave a friend with those same feelings of regret.

Even today, I am continually growing as a photographer. I love capturing the moments of joy, happiness and fun that a photograph can bring. But, I especially enjoy interacting with the people in front of my camera. Even though I don’t get that childlike feeling anymore of being a spy or secret agent when I’m behind the camera, I will try to make you feel like a superstar when you are in front of my camera.
