HI! I’m Todd Bissonette… I’m a native of Lake Placid, NY… site of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics… I’m a dad of two great kids, Morin (14) and Cobane (12).... No, Cobane is not named for Kurt (But there is kinda a story there that I would love to tell you over a drink sometime!) Some of things I’ve been and done as I’m trying to figure out what to do when I grow up include Police Officer, Firefighter, SCUBA Instructor, Alpine Ski Instructor, Student Pilot…. Oh, and did I mention I’m a professional photographer? I like to keep things exciting!

As for photography I have also run the gamut…. I started out mainly with sports; Bobsledding, Hockey, Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Ski Jumping, working with many different publications and as an AP stringer for World Cup events, I also went to the Olympics in 2010! Branched out into Editorial, I’ve worked with the NY Times, The Seattle Times, The New York Post and many local and regional publications. I’ve also shot a few Weddings (Who hasn’t!), Lifestyle, Commercial, and am working on making better Portraits… My daughter has been a dancer since she was 4, so I have some experience with dance photography. I’m a primary photographer for Rebecca Kelly Ballet of New york City and the Adirondacks.

I am currently moving from my lifelong home to an new area, and trying to rejuvenate and re-invent a little along the way. I think everyone should have a great headshot... and with your help I'll learn to make better ones for them.
