I started my photography business in 2008 after I went to several schools for Forensic Photography as I am also a Detective with my local Police Department. I began shooting kid parties, family photos/portraits, then events in NY and NJ. I went to the New York Institute of Photography and finished the online program there to get a certificate in Professional Photography. Once that was concluded, I started exploring wedding photography, joined several networking groups and found Jason Groupp in NYC. He def inspired me to become a better photographer and shoot weddings and engagement shoots. I started photographing weddings in 2009 and the business took off from there. In early 2012, I was hired by Getty Images in NYC as a contributing photographer and now shoot celebrities and red carpet events in NJ & NY for the company. Im still a full time police officer, Wedding Photographer, work for Getty Images and I am so in love with Peter Hurley's techniques, his attitude towards photography and teaching others, that he too now inspires me to be even better!
