Julie Pearl began her career on the other side of the camera as a dancer and performer. A theater major at the University of Pennsylvania, Julie spent many years performing and teaching dance and theater before she was sidelined by injuries. She turned to photography as a creative outlet and hobby and it wasn't long before the hobby turned to a passion and the passion a profession. Julie loves shooting performers and is able to put her extensive knowledge of both the craft and business of the arts to her clients service. She currently runs the dance website Got Dance LA - www.gotdancela.com - where she supports the dance community in Los Angeles and promotes the areas dancers and events.
She started shooting family portraits when her own daughter was born and has the same love and joy in capturing those precious moments for her clients as she does for her own family.
