As a portrait photographer, I am interested in people and how they see themselves and, of course, the image they want to project. As a street photographer, I‘m interested in the way people live and the defining moment that distills a much bigger story. I live in New York City and had the good fortune to travel both near and far. Along the way, I’ve honed my craft and opened my eyes to the wonderfully diverse world we live in.
When I’m taking a picture, I try to capture the essence of the subject and the reality of the moment, but as Richard Avedon said, “All photographs are accurate. None of them are truth.” The photographer is the person in the middle who records the moment, as he perceives it and, hopefully, adds to the discussion. I hope you enjoy my work and maybe along the way we will meet up.
