I am New York City based portrait and headshot photographer who brings a unique perspective to my work; my background as an art director. For more than twenty years, I worked with designers, illustrators and photographers for a national newspaper, magazines and non-profit organizations in New York and London.

What sets my style apart is the use of natural light. This technique gives my work a slightly different look than the other Headshot Crew photographers. Daylight makes people glow naturally and is also easier on sensitive eyes than traditional studio lighting.

I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people and have been told that one of my strengths is being able to help subjects feel comfortable in front of a camera. Working with someone to create a portrait where they look great, feel confident, and their personality shines through is very rewarding. It's a big part of why I love what I do.

When I'm not at my studio you’ll find me riding a bike, reading a book (not a screen), cooking, listening to music, or spending time with my husband and two teenagers. I'm also a fan of dark comedies and my favorite movie is Harold and Maude. Book a session and let's talk about you!
