Lynn Bernardi & Andy Schwartz are the owners of The Shot Shoppe, a Detroit photography studio specializing in headshots. We've both been photography obsessed since our teens, and grew up in the film era and know our way around a darkroom. We've been shooting professionally since 2007, starting off in wedding photography, and then transitioning to real estate and architecture. (You can only give up your weekends for so many years before you go crazy.) Our real estate photography business, Stylish Detroit, has grown to include 4 photographers, and continues to thrive. We found however that we missed connecting with our subjects and the challenges of portraiture. Our clients started asking us if we did headshots, and a new company was born.
