My name is Lloyd Maxwell Jr. I am a Houston based Wedding and Portrait Photographer. Yes, JMax is what some of my close friends call me (short for Junior Maxwell).I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Houston, Texas. I started out in photography as a 10 year old living in Kingston, Jamaica where I was born. Every summer during my childhood days, my father would arrange for me to spend time with a friend of his that was a Professional Photographer. Needless-to-say, as a child, I would have much preferred playing with my friends.

While under the apprenticeship, I learned the basics in film processing and developing. Then at the age of 15, my father handed down to me his camera, a Yashica Pentamatic 35mm. The photography 'bug' stayed dormant until I graduated from High School, that is when I started working for my cousin, Lennie Little-White (a renowned Filmmaker) at Mediamix Ltd. It was during my time there that I developed the love for photography. The seed that was planted during my pre-teen years, now started to flourish.

I love taking pictures of people in general, but specialize in Weddings, High School Seniors, and Family Portraits.
