I'm Ian, a head shot and portrait photographer based in South East Essex, UK. I started taking photos after the birth of my first son back in 2011. I never expected to enjoy the experience of capturing the movements and expressions of people as much as I did. I realised I was capable of taking more than just snapshots of my kids as they grew up, so I developed skills in smart camera usage and various lighting techniques and as a result my wife is now very pleased with how our family photo album looks. I've continued to photograph portraiture and this has led me to shooting creative portraits and head shots for actors, models and corporate personnel. I work under the brand Kolokial Shots and I find providing my clients with images that go on to work for them gives me a great sense of fulfillment.
