His most current local involvement has been with a professional photography guild in East Texas and with the Texas Professional Photographers Association. He is currently a protege under Peter Hurley, probably the best headshot photographer in the United States. His personal goal is to be the best headshot photographer in Tyler and all of East Texas.

His primary interests are headshots for business owners and their employees. He also enjoys doing special photographic projects that deal with architecture, events, fine art, and landscapes.

When asked..What is it exactly that you do? He usually responds as follows:

" I study light and I use light in order to help people. For the past 20 years, I have worked with people trying to help them determine their greatest assets and how to maximize and/or protect them. My process always starts with taking a well-lit picture. "

"My vocation is money management and helping people view their finances better under a different light. My avocation is professional photography and helping people see themselves differently under favorable light. My commission is to share where I believe the true source of light comes from and to try to encourage people to act upon the light that has already been given them. My personal desire is to grow in the knowledge of light, working with people, and to grow in relationship with Christ, whom I believe to be the Creator of all light."
