Happy Birthday Headshotcrew!!

Hey Crew!

I just found out that TODAY it's 2 years ago that the HeadshotCrew got launched.

Obviously, the site exists longer than that, but on January 25th 2015 Peter rebranded PH2PRO to the HeadshotCrew and ever since we've been rocking the Crew!

This Crew has been amazing to me, I met my best friends here, get to meet awesome photographers all over the world and it helped me work my behind off to own and run a successful photography studio.

Thank you Peter for putting in the work to make this the most supportive photography community on planet Earth.

Whether you've been here a day, a month or over a year, I'm curious what the HeadshotCrew means to you. Please share your thoughts!

Happy Birthday also for me.

To share my thoughts, the HSC or first PH2PRO changed my life for sure. So all of you are all a part of me and my life.
I really love the community and would not be there where i am today.

Happy birthday HSC! I just joined in September and I've since then dipped my toes in the waters of headshot-land. Hoping it will be as valuable to me as it was to you Maurice! Already learned a whole lot with the CrewCasts and posts. I've got a bunch of portfolio shoots coming up (next one in an hour!), so I do have a good feeling about it :D Too bad I won't be able to make it out to Vegas to meet a whole lot of you personally (enjoy!), but the coming few months is all about getting more involved here so hopefully at some other event. LET'S GO! :D

Cool! Now we've just got to figure out the day PH2PRO was launched! Well I just looked and I don't know the exact date, but it says I joined 5 years and 2 months ago. Pretty cool.

I can only echo Mo's sentiments. I have met some of my best friends here. The Crew has literally changed my life, and I am forever grateful for that. Thank you to all Crew members for being more than a community... but a family! Happy Birthday, Crew!!

My belated congratulations! It was one year ago that I joined the HeadshotCrew and it has been an amazing journey ever since. I don't have to tell you that this is the best place to learn everything you need to know about headshots and the headshot business. Yet, the Crew is so much more than a learning resource to me. I spent a couple of years in academia before I decided to quit my job and perusing a career in photography. That was a good decision! The only thing I really missed was the international community of scholars. I no longer had the like-minded people to talk about the day-to-day problems of my job, people from whom I could learn, who gave me their honest feedback and helped me to grow, people who motivated me (or told me inside jokes). Then, I joined the Crew and I had all the things again I deeply valued about my former community–even a bit more. Indeed, the Crew feels like a huge family to me. A big thank you to Peter and all the Crew members for making that happen!

HBD!! Stumbled on this site when looking for some lighting direction and signed up for the Intensive bak in 5/15. Glad I did! The commitment by many folks here, especially Peter, has upped the game of all of us! Standing the test of time!! Much love to the many friendships I've personally made as a result of this group.

Peter was in Cincinnati (Northern KY) when it launched. I began this journey on Day 1 (HSC) based on Peter's presentation! Blew my Association/Convention business wide open within 3 months. Awesome learning Portal, great atmosphere (no trolls), and Inspired Leadership!!! We should have a Founder's Day celebration every stinkin' year!!!! Collectively raise a glass and kiss the finger that makes it happen!!!

That's amazing. How did you figure that out? PH2PRO it's predecessor launched on Dec 28, 2011. We are 6 years old.

Thank you Peter. What a fantastic thing to create, making such a huge difference in so many lives. (And thanks to the mentors and other participants as well :-) )

Last week I photographed a CEO of a law firm, using Peter's techniques. and she was blown away. She said it was the first headshot of her in her entire life that she ever actually liked. She said that before this experience, going to a photographer was like going to the dentist for her. (And she immediately hired me to photograph her entire executive team :-) ).

So she thanks you too!
