This is Tony. And this is probably the most important headshot I have ever taken. Tony is 81 years old and is battling COPD and stage 4 Lung Cancer. We had to shoot in between breaths and getting oxygen. He would catch is breath, remove the O2 and we'd grab a couple frames before pausing again.

Tony survived Chemo and Radiation but after the Cancer returned the doctors realized that there was nothing more that they could do for him but keep him comfortable and wait out his days.

News like that can cause tremendous depression. It has been hard on him and his family ... but even fighting for every breath, and struggling to move under his own power, can not stop him from trying to spread joy and happiness where he can.

You can call him Tony .... I'll call him Dad.
