Portrait Probe is our monthly themed portrait challenge, open to all members of the Coaching Group. Each month, a new concept or theme is announced to spark ideas, encourage experimentation, and help push your portrait work further.
Entries are reviewed live during the Wednesday Portrait Track Crew Casts, where you'll get real-time feedback and direction from Ivan Weiss and the Crew. Whether you're refining your style or trying something completely new, Portrait Probe is your chance to grow as a portrait photographer with the support of the community.
The Portrait Probe challenge this month is to select an image that you like (it could be a photograph, a screen grab from a movie or painting) and to recreate the colour so that your image has the same feel to it.
The winner of this month’s probe will receive a copy of Affinity Photo (desktop version, PC or Mac) along with a special bonus prize to be announced later in the month.
All active members of the Headshot Crew coaching program may enter.
