I am a longtime digital/film photographer looking to add head shots to my skills list. I've shot weddings, sports, dance, commercial, portraits and events. The thing that moves me creatively, is the human form. In college a studied life drawing and painting. For the past three decades, my "day" job was as a retouching and color specialist in print and publishing industry. But I always had a side gig. Weddings mostly, shooting with a Mamiya RB67. I could change the film one handed while driving from the ceremony to the reception. One time, I shot a prep school ski team outside in a snow storm using 2 speedotron 102 strobes and my power pack in a milk crate. So I guess i'm pretty hard core. I joined the Headshot Crew because I believe in Peter Hurley. He made his transition from in front of the camera to behind it. I'm making mine from fixing images to creating them.
