Hi, my name is Bill Plyler. In the early eighties I worked as a newspaper photographer. After a short thirty year break as a carpenter builder I have returned to my passion, photography. I enjoy shooting people the way they really are. I am now photographing headshots, senior portraits and people in my town. I recently began a personal project photographing the old timers in our little town. They are our link to the past and they are rapidly disappearing, as the farmer down the road told me last week. This is what photography is to me a personal journey that links me to the people around me and hopefully gives them the best portrait of themselves that I can produce.
