I started my love for photography in High School shooting sports with a canon SLR camera. I continued to use that same camera after getting married and having our first child who was born three months premature. As she was growing over the first year I found myself fascinated with all of her changing expressions. During that time it broadened my love for photography even more. As life became busier my photography had to be put on hold. Then in 2003 my children started participating in many sports which reignited my passion for photography once again. I spent the next year and a half studying all aspects of photography, and photoshop. In June of 2004 Champine Photography was created shooting senior portraits, sports, and weddings. Shooting senior’s and sports sparked my interest in school photography. In 2007 I was given the opportunity to be the photographer for New Lebanon Local Schools. This allows me to cover all dances, sporting events, and yearbook pictures. Due to my experience, in 2013 I was asked to take over Tri-County North Schools as well. I am excited for this new opportunity to capture more moments in peoples lives.
