Lou Gusmano is a former marketing consultant and market researcher whose lifelong passion for photography began at the age of 12. In 2010, Lou decided it was time to channel that passion professionally. He started photographing property listings for a realtor friend and quickly expanded into a broader real estate clientele. His portfolio has grown to include headshots, portraits, and event photography, serving clients in the Chicago area and across the country.

Lou is committed to continuous improvement and has actively developed his craft through workshops and conferences. His work has also earned industry recognition—twice named a finalist in portrait photography at Photoshop World (2022, 2024). He is a Certified Profession Photographer and member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Professional Photographers of Northern Illinois (PPANI), and serves as an Affiliate Board Member for the Mainstreet Association of Realtors. With more than 4 decades behind the lens, photography isn’t just a profession for Lou—it’s a lifelong joy and a creative pursuit that continues to inspire him every day.
