Lance Tilford's work draws from experience as a young actor, a film student, and a marketing director, and he spent many years in the publishing world before creating Limelight Studio in the St. Louis area with his wife and partner, Tamara Tungate, an actress, model and makeup artist.  He started the studio to specialize in working with on-camera talent and now shoots for talent working coast to coast.  Lance's approach is simple:  it's all about directing the talent for an honest variety of expression and nailing those looks that will best market them.  Lance recently published The Art of the Headshot: A Handbook for Photographers, Actors, Models & Self-Promoters, and has further books in the pipeline from Limelight Media.
