Michael Guttman grew up in the Los Angeles area and has worked in the film industry for over fifteen years. His credits include Elf, X-Men 2, Bolt, Tangled, The Croods and many others. While working primarily in animation and visual effects, Michael always had an interest in photography. He was first introduced to it by his grandfather Sid Avery, a famous Hollywood portrait photographer. As Michael grew older, it became clear that he also had an amazing eye for capturing people on camera. Michael creates a fun, easy going, stress free environment where his clients can feel comfortable letting themselves come alive for the camera. He believes that his job is to capture the best image possible by bringing out the best in each client. Michael feels “that there is nothing better than the feeling of capturing someone at their best and seeing their excited reaction to the photo.” Michael lives in Simi Valley with his gorgeous wife, two lovely daughters and two cute annoying cats.
