When I shoot, I try to capture the magic that light posess to reveal forms, a magic that atracted me since I was a child. My father had photography as a hobby, and I still clearly remember the day he lent me, for the first time, his Rolleiflex. In 80, when I was still doing Comunications University, I got my first job, for a Company that nedded an assistent for an american photographer who was coming to Brazil. I was fluent in English, so I was hired. Since then, a series of coincidences took me irreversible closer and closer to photography. Today, after more than 30 years as a professional photographer, I have a strong feeling that it wasn’t me who choosed photography, but photography that choosed me
