I specialize in commercial headshots and portraits. I shoot primarily on location in the New York metro area, and from my studio in Montclair, NJ.
My journey towards becoming a photographer has been anything but typical - I didn't go to school for it, and I built a promising career doing something completely different. I grew up in England and France, before moving to the U.S. in 2001 to pursue a Computer Science degree at MIT. After college I spent 10 years living and working in California – much of it in Silicon Valley. While I found some measure of success working in technology, in 2015 I found myself looking in new directions, having achieved most of the career goals that I had set for myself.
It all started when my wife bought a new camera to take pictures for her blog, and I offered to help her take environmental portraits. Pretty quickly I became obsessed. Photography became my artistic outlet, and I got excited about the human stories that I could tell with my camera.
As a former tech entrepreneur who fell in love with photography, the next logical step was to go pro, and so I formed my new portrait and headshot business in the fall of 2019.
